Trademarks and Design
Schmidt Brunet Litzler supports fashion, media and e-commerce clients and increasingly helps start-ups with the management of their trade mark portfolios, assisting with the drafting of coexistence, licence and distribution agreements in addition to registering new trademarks with the French and EU IP offices. The firm is also frequently instructed to defend trade marks before the French courts and the ECJ, where it represents clients seeking to put a stop to ongoing infringements.
The team is led by Delphine Brunet-Stoclet, a well-versed litigator who also advises on the development of clients’ trademark strategies, and Marie André-Nivet, who heads up the firm’s trade mark prosecution practice and manages worldwide IP portfolios. She also leads the firm’s Marseille office, which opened in January 2022.

Delphine Brunet-Stoclet leads the IP practice at Schmidt Brunet Litzler, which represents clients in the jewellery, media and furniture sectors in both pre-litigation mediation and court proceedings. In addition, the firm handles contractual matters, assisting with the drafting of licence agreements and helping clients to ensure that their intellectual property is protected, both in France and abroad.
