At Théâtre de la Michodière – Paris 2e
Some of our teams recently attended this show, which looks at four emblematic cases of the 20th century through the prism of pleadings delivered by leading lawyers:
– Maître Jakubowicz on the trial of Klaus Barbie and his crimes against humanity
– Maître Labori on the trial of Émile Zola in the Dreyfus Affair
– Maître Dupin on the end of life
– Maître Molteni, in an eloquence contest, on the offence of solidarity
Interspersed with archive footage and supported by a highly involving technical process, the staging is designed to be immersive, inviting the spectator to take on the role of juror.
Why were we moved?
Inevitably, a lot of shared emotion, and the knowledge that our profession can play a part in the duty of remembrance.
